Crime Reports: Abilene owner says contractor owes $11,000 for shoddy/unfinished work

Block 2500 of Regent Drive – Assault, Domestic Violence
One victim claimed her brother assaulted her.
800 Block of S 14th Street – Assault, Domestic Violence
A man reported that his roommate grabbed him and caused him pain and injury.
1000 Block of N Judge Ely Blvd – Theft of Property
An officer reported that food worth $242 was stolen from an Abilene store.
1900 Block of Elmwood Drive – Flight of Service
A victim said he paid $11,000 to a contractor, but the agreed-upon work was not completed or was not done properly.
4300 Block of Southwest Drive – Property Theft
A suspect is accused of taking a wallet from the counter of an Abilene store.
Block 3500 of Curry Lane – Harassment
A victim reported that his colleague was sending annoying and alarming text messages.
Block 2800 Sayles Boulevard – Theft of property
A television worth $600 was stolen.
Block 3800 of Antilley Road – Theft by Check
A suspect is accused of writing an NSF check at a South Abilene credit union.
Block 800 of the E80 Highway – Vehicle Burglary
A $50 wallet was stolen from a North Abilene motel.
Block 1200 Fannin Street – Theft of Property
A $250 video game was stolen in North Abilene.
Block 1400 of N Mockingbird Lane – criminal mischief
A suspect is accused of pushing her ex-boyfriend.
Block 1300 of N Mockingbird Lane – Property Theft
A victim reported that his $200 cell phone was stolen.
1200 Block of Grape Street – Terrorism Threat
One victim reported that a suspect approached him and threatened to kill him with a gun the next time he saw him.
Block 3500 of W Lake Road – Gun theft
A victim reported that his firearm was stolen from the parking lot of a North Abilene hotel.
1600 Block of Ambler Avenue – Property Theft
A suspect has been arrested for stealing items in North Abilene.
1300 Block of Barrow Street – Property Theft
A suspect is charged with stealing $600 worth of merchandise from an Abilene business.
500 Block of N Judge Ely Blvd – Assault, Domestic Violence
A suspect is charged with assaulting his girlfriend in North Abilene.
Arrests
Melissa McMinn – Property Theft
McMinn is accused of attempting to leave an Abilene store with $242 worth of groceries that she did not pay for.
Alyssa Claxton – Public Intoxication
Claxton was contacted in public and showed signs of being intoxicated. She was arrested for being a danger to herself and others.
Brian Jimenez – Mandate
Jimenez was contacted after leaving the scene of a disturbance and found to have active warrants for his arrest.
Debrah Arriola – Property Theft
Arriola is accused of attempting to take less than $100 worth of items from an Abilene store without paying.
Elias Medina – Deadly Discharge Firearm
Medina was contacted in reference to an active warrant and was arrested.
Steven Pagan – Aggression Domestic Violence
Pagan is accused of pushing a victim to the ground, causing him pain.
Richard Fuqua – Mandate
Fuqua was contacted in reference to an active warrant and was arrested.
Tylik Johnson – possession of marijuana, illegal possession of a weapon
Johnson was contacted during a traffic stop. Officers smelled marijuana and found 3.9 ounces in his vehicle along with a handgun.
Serenity Beasley-Banks – Public Intoxication
Beasley-Banks was contacted in public after causing a disturbance. She showed signs of intoxication and was arrested for being a danger to herself and others.
Rudolph Cortez – Drunk Driving, Resisting Arrest
Cortez was arrested for not signaling his turn. He showed signs of intoxication and failed several field sobriety tests. His blood was taken by warrant and he was arrested.
Trokecha Smith – Public Intoxication
Smith was contacted in public and showed signs of being intoxicated. She was placed under arrest for being a danger to herself and others.
