NEW information regarding the report of missing woman Ana Walshe has come to light in the alleged suspect’s murky timeline.

However, a Cohasset police logbook sheds new light on how Walshe’s disappearance first came to the attention of cops.

The newspaper says her employer, Tishman Speyer, contacted the police before her husband Brian Walshe.

Additionally, a call requesting a wellness check was made on January 4 by a man who identified himself as the head of security at Tishman Speyer.

The newspaper also said that Tishman Speyer contacted her husband Brian Walshe before reporting his wife missing.

He further revealed that Brian Walshe told police his wife left for DC and he hasn’t heard from her since.

The security chief said the “company contacted the husband” and that he “did not file a missing person report”.

The details contradict initial reports that Walshe’s employer and Brian Walshe reported her missing at the same time.

During last week’s arraignment, Brian Walshe’s attorney told the court it was his client who allegedly contacted Tishman Speyer about his missing wife.

The newspaper also revealed Walshe’s phone last rang Monday, January 2, at 3:14 a.m. in Cohasset.

It pointed to a tower on Reservoir Road less than a mile from the Walshe’s rental house.

The newspaper’s information raises many questions as two weeks have passed since Walshe was last seen on New Year’s Day.

Philip Tracy Jr, Massachusetts attorney handling the case, said: “You can never be premature in dealing with a case like this, where a body is missing.

“The public wants to know right away, but they can’t know until there’s proof.”

Mr Tracy said processing the evidence could take weeks.

So far, investigators say they have found blood and a knife with blood on it in the basement of Walshe’s rental home.

According to Boston 25 News, authorities also found a hacksaw and carpet believed to contain biological evidence at a Peabody transfer station.

Brian Walshe remains in jail on $500,000 cash bond.

The 47-year-old, who was on parole for fraud, has since pleaded not guilty to misleading police investigating his wife’s disappearance.

The man will return to court on February 9.
