Martinelli signed a new contract with the Gunners in February, extending his stay at the club until 2027.
Arsenal are also working to tie Saka down to a new contract, with the winger’s current deal set to expire in 2024.
The Gunners are understood to have a broad agreement in place with Saka and are working on finalizing the terms of a new contract.
“I will be happy because he is a very, very good player, one of the best young players in the world,” Martinelli said when asked about the prospect of Saka staying.
“He’s at home, you know. Arsenal is his home and for sure he is happy. And we will also be happy if he stays and signs a new contract.
“We always have jokes – me, him and (William) Saliba. But it’s up to him. But he will stay for sure. He loves the club.
