GMA fans beg Rob Marciano to ‘stay safe’ as he makes rare appearance on morning show from dangerous location
GMA fans begged Rob Marciano to take care of him as he reported on the spot from a devastating flood in California.
Rob reported on the scene of the catastrophic flooding in California during a segment on Monday morning’s episode of GMA.
Rob was seen wading through knee-deep water as he reported on the Monterey County overflow and how flooding has affected other areas of California.
The meteorologist’s bright blue jacket looked dry, but his beige pants appeared to be soaked with water as he walked through the flooded area.
“The only way to get in and out of these areas now is by vehicle or bicycle on the high seas,” Rob warned as he delivered the weather forecast.
The waters rushed around him, creating an eerie sight.
It certainly didn’t look like Rob was in the safest areas, which viewers were quick to notice.
Fans have taken to social media to express their concern for Rob.
One wrote, “Wow! Pray for everyone affected in California! Stay safe!”
Another commented: “Please be careful Rob!”

A third fan pleaded, “Please take care!”
A fourth pleaded: “Be safe!”
A fan asked Rob to “avoid deeper water” as he moved around the area filming content.
Meanwhile, Rob joked about his possible retirement after Good Morning America.
In an Instagram story, the beloved GMA star posed with a beautiful rainbow in the background.
Rob, 54, toyed with the popular myth about a leprechaun’s pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
The meteorologist hilariously admitted, “Yeah, there’s no pot of gold.”
He captioned the post: “My retirement dreams are fading” and added a laughing emoji.
The star had uploaded a snapshot of himself following the rainbow trail.
He mentioned: “Looking for my retirement”, with a stack of money emoji.
On March 10, Rob appeared on camera wearing his blue ABC News jacket.
While reporting from Folsom, California, Rob stood in the pouring rain as he warned viewers of a winter storm emergency.
The father-of-two hasn’t been on the morning show full-time since last year.
Fans jumped online and begged the TV personality to return to the morning show full time.
“We always need more Marciano. Why isn’t he in the studio anymore? ABC News screwed up something!” one person said at the time.
Another added: “We miss Rob here. I wish he was back full time!”
In July 2022, Rob’s ex-wife Eryn called it quits after 11 years of marriage.
The US Sun exclusively revealed that Eryn quietly filed for divorce on June 18, 2021, according to New York court records.
The former couple share two children: Madelynn and Mason.
Even though Rob hasn’t deleted the morning show from his social media profile, viewers have been concerned about his standing on the show after he’s been gone for several months.
Despite the divorce, the exes appear to be co-parenting amicably, as they took a trip to Walt Disney World with their children during spring break in April 2022, according to her social media posts.
The realtor hasn’t posted about her ex-husband since June 2021 for a Father’s Day tribute.
Speaking to PEOPLE last year about the divorce, Rob shared, “The last two years have been really tough.
“I didn’t want that and tried to save the marriage, but unfortunately we are getting divorced. My focus now is on my children.”
