How to Use Reminders on macOS
Note: This only applies to those with a macOS computer running macOS 10.8 (Mountain Lion) or later.
We’ll show you how to use some of the basic tools in the Reminders desktop app so you can start organizing your life better today.
How to create a list

- If the item needs to be completed by a specific date and time, select the small “i” in the circle to the right of the item . A new pop-up window will open, where you can add a note, set a date, time or place, and even set the priority of the item

HOW TO UNLOCK AN APPLE DEVICE WHEN ITS OWNER DIES
- Use the Add date and Add location options below to provide more specific information for your reminder. You can also report the recall if it is important using the flag icon or add additional tags using the # icon (tags make it easier when you have a lot of items on a list and need to find a specific one)
- When you’re done, click the red circle in the upper left corner of the screen, and it will be saved

The left panel tabs indicate when your reminders and tasks are scheduled. If you have set a reminder for the same day, it will fall under the Todaytongue. The next reminders will come under the Programtongue. Reported recalls will be the responsibility of the Markand each reminder you have set will fall under the tab Alltongue. Once reminders are complete, they will go under thecompletedtongue.
