‘I’d hide’ – Roy Keane delivers scathing analysis on Manchester United after ’embarrassing’ 7-0 loss to Liverpool

Manchester United legend Roy Keane has made his way into the Red Devils squad following their ’embarrassing’ and ‘shocking’ loss to Liverpool.
The Red Devils lost 7-0 at Anfield – their worst Premier League defeat and worst league loss since Boxing Day in 1931.
Erik ten Hag’s side entered the break behind the Merseyside side by just one goal after Cody Gakpo’s fine strike with the game tied.
But United capitulated in the second half, scoring six as Mohamed Salah became Liverpool’s all-time top scorer with 129.
And Keane hasn’t been shy about analyzing his former employers – just a week after winning the Carabao Cup.
Speaking on Sky Sports, Keane said: “If I was beaten 6-0 or 7-0 I would be in hiding. I would be missing for a few months. It’s really embarrassing.
“A shocking day. The goal just after half-time was game over.
“The senior players were embarrassing, showed no leadership skills. The goals they gave up were shocking. A tough day for United.

“Thank goodness I have never been part of a team that has been beaten by so many players for Man United.
“The players are going to be embarrassed, ashamed of their performance. When things got tough, they disappeared.
He added: “After winning the Carabao Cup, in the West Ham game, lots of celebrations, lots of nonsense, lots of presentations – there were four or five.
“The circus is back in town at Manchester United. I’ve always been aware of that as a player. Keep an eye on people, don’t let them get carried away because you know what this game can do to you.

“I saw a few players come out for the second half laughing and joking.
“They were joking with Anfield staff at 1-0 – I don’t like to see that rubbish. You’re here to work, that’s big boy stuff. Forget the laughs and jokes.
Keane’s former team-mate Gary Neville also tore up the team, remarking: “The second half was an absolute disgrace.
“I will start with the captain (Bruno Fernandes) because you are the captain of the football club.
“Bruno can get on your nerves sometimes because of the way he is, but it was appalling in the second half.
“The others didn’t show up. The whole back four was a disgrace.
“It cannot become the norm. It should be seen as something we will never see again.
