Chelsea’s hopes of lifting a trophy this season could be dashed in a decisive game against Borussia Dortmund tonight.

The Blues trail 1-0 in their Champions League round of 16 going into the second leg but can be buoyed by a 1-0 win over Leeds at the weekend.

The result eased the ever-increasing pressure on Graham Potter and he hopes his team can put together a run and qualify for the quarter-finals.

Chelsea are tenth in the Premier League, 11 points off the top four, meaning winning the Champions League this year could represent their best opportunity to feature in the next UEFA campaign.

But they have it all after Karim Adeyemi’s goal was enough for Dortmund to seal victory when the two sides met in the first leg.

BVB arrive in west London on an 11-match winning streak, but Jude Bellingham and his team-mates have lost their last five away Champions League games against English sides.
