NFL analysts continue to gush about Combine prospect

It’s not every year that a prospect impresses every NFL Scouting Combine scout.

But Will Anderson Jr. is no ordinary player, and you don’t have to be a football connoisseur to realize that.

The Alabama product was amazing in college and argued for his first place overall on April 27.

And his physical measurements and numbers at the combine only reaffirmed his status as the potential best player in his class.

In fact, NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah pointed out some of his comparisons to the NFL in terms of physical traits, 40-yard rush times, and 10-yard splits, and they were pretty encouraging.

Apparently, Anderson is quite similar to Khalil Mack and DeMarcus Ware, so expectations would be pretty high for him coming out of college.

Right now, the Chicago Bears are in possession of that first overall pick, and they would be wise to revamp their defense with a potential generational player who will make a difference from the very first snap of his pro career.

Of course, things could also change in the blink of an eye if the Bears trade or use that pick to land Bryce Young, as that would likely slip him to third place, with the Texans using their pick to land CJ Stroud.

Either way, no matter where he plays, Anderson has the makings of a defensive superstar, and I hope he lives up to that potential in the league for years to come.
