Here we go again.

Lea got her bet right today, as she tells Nnamdi Onyeagwara at Boxpark Wembley: “I’m happy. I’m not tense. I’m chilling. We’ve got this in the bag.

“I’m very relaxed. I said we would get a last minute goal and it happened. I got my bet right this time.”

Nigeria were hanging on there!

And breathe.

After that goal, South Africa looked like the only side who were going to win that.

But now there’s a pause for Nigeria to reset, refresh and re-group.

What a game this is.

Incredibly stressful experience…

Do you know how stressful it is watching a game when the stakes are this high and the other side of the room’s TV is five seconds ahead of yours?

I’m beginning to think every shriek and gasp means South Africa have scored.

That’s the 90 minutes over!

Into extra time now…

90+6′ Nigeria 1-1 South Africa

Oh my giddy aunt.

Teboho Mokoena, who scored the penalty, stands over the free-kick. It’s fairly central, 30 yards out, but he loves a long shot.

He lets fly, great technique, dipping and swerving in the air with his side-foot. Nwabali is behind it but maybe gets his angles wrong and palms it back into danger rather than wide or out of play.

Khuliso Mudau times his run to the loose ball brilliantly but with the goal gaping and Nwabali still on the ground he steered his left-footed effort well over.

You simply HAVE to score that. It was bouncing and on his wrong foot but… that could have been the winner.

Brilliant from Mudau!

Now South Africa look like the more likely to win it!

Mudau takes a quick free-kick, the ball is volleyed in and Evidence Makgopa tries an incredible acrobatic bicycle kick. It flies narrowly wide with Nwabali rooted to his spot.

Then Mudau rips past his marker again, brilliant pace and agility, crosses from the byline… just about cleared.

But Lookman concedes a foul and South Africa have a free kick…

South African journalists loving it

Somehow the South African journalists in the media centre found out about Mokoena scoring before he took the penalty on the television screens.

They started shouting and running around before quickly regaining composure.

How Mokoena levelled for South Africa

90+2′ Nigeria 1-1 South Africa

Two minutes into six of stoppage time now.

Unfortunately for Nigeria, it is (like Nigeria’s) definitely a penalty. A poor, rash challenge from Yusuf, who earlier had given away a clumsy free kick. He swung wildly at the ball, made contact with Tau and was nowhere near the ball.

Nwabali guessed to his left, Mokoena whipped it perfectly into the bottom-left corner (Nwabali’s right). All square!

‘Over the bar…’

“Over the bar, Over the bar,” the Nigerians chant but to no avail.

Another wild twist

This competition is absolutely bonkers.

Just when you think you’ve seen it all, a new twist will surprise you.

GOOOOALLLL! South Africa are level!

89′ Nigeria 1-1 South Africa

Incredible! I love this game!

Teboho Mokoena slams it in and South Africa equalise seconds before the 90 minutes are up!

Tau fouled by Alhassan Yusuf

87′ Nigeria 1-0 South Africa

The referee looked at it and, indeed, the attack started with Yusuf fouling Percy Tau inside the box.

A South Africa penalty is given.

86′ Nigeria 1-0 South Africa

VAR looks at it, advises the ref to look at how the counter-attack started.

South Africa weren’t happy, they were saying there was a foul, and replays showed there was!

GOOOOAALL! Nigeria score and surely they’re in the final now!

85′ Nigeria 2-0 South Africa

Victor Osimhen taps home!

It was a lightning-fast break, played out to Bright Osayi-Samuel on the right side of the penalty area, he crossed it past three South Africans to Osimhen at the back post, who had the whole goal to tap it home.

BUT there’s a VAR check!

‘Make it two!’

Boxpark are unhappy with Lookman.

“What are you doing? Make it two!”

Lookman can’t score a one-on-one! MASSIVE save!

84′ Nigeria 1-0 South Africa

WOW. What an incredible chance for Ademola Lookman but it’s a super stop from Ronwen Williams.

A brilliant slide-rule through ball saw Lookman one-on-one but Williams stuck out a big right paw and dived to win the ball as Lookman tried to take it to his left.

South Africa push forward

83′ Nigeria 1-0 South Africa

Love watching Khuliso Mudau. Surrounded by four players, he breaks out and wins a free-kick.

Ronwen Williams then plays out of defence nicely.
