The investigating chamber of the Paris Court of Appeal ruled on Tuesday morning on a possible return to pre-trial detention of Pierre Palmade, released under judicial supervision in the investigation into the road accident that he caused under the influence of cocaine. She finally decided to leave the comedian under judicial control but with a ban on “leaving the hospital where he is being cared for”, announced BFM.
As a reminder, on February 10, Pierre Palmade had hit a vehicle arriving opposite near Villiers-en-Bière (Seine-et-Marne). In addition to the actor, the accident left three seriously injured: a 38-year-old man, his 6-year-old son and his 27-year-old sister-in-law, who lost the baby she was expecting. “All have been released from the hospital,” announced their lawyer, Me Mourad Battikh. Palmade had been placed in pre-trial detention on February 27, but never physically entered prison: victim of a stroke two weeks after the accident, he was operated on and is still hospitalized.
