Ebanie Bridges thinks her sparring partner and friend, Elle Brooke, could truly become world champion.
Brooke is a TikToker/OnlyFans star who is involved in the influencer boxing scene, with two fights and two wins under her belt so far.
In her last fight, Bridges was in her corner to watch Brooke pick up a brutal first-round victory over fellow TikToker Faith Ordway.
The influencer boxing scene has taken off recently, with social media star Jake Paul even claiming he will one day become a world champion.
But Bridges thinks Brooke will beat Paul by becoming world champion herself.
“She’s only 25, I’m 37 this year and I’ve done it in six years. Since I first put on gloves and got in the ring for the first time , it’s been six years. They say you can’t teach an old dog new tricks, but I do learn them.
“So I really think she can, she’s just like me, she’s passionate, she works very hard, she listens and she learns fast.
“She’s been boxing for almost a year and she’s better than me at this point in my career and she’s a baby so I definitely think she can.
“She hits like a truck, she hits really hard and I think if she can use the influencer world as her amateur career, almost like white collar boxing, then I think she can go pro for sure .
“I don’t know how long this influence boxing will last, but she makes a lot of money out of it. I think she made a similar amount in her first fight in four rounds compared to what I have won in my first world title fight is ridiculous and good for them.
“These influencers, I totally agree, they built their names and their brands to be able to make that kind of money.
“But, Elle is definitely above (the influencers) and I support her for doing that.”
As for whether IBF bantamweight champion Bridges herself would consider fighting an influencer, she made it clear that she definitely would and she even called out OnlyFans star Astrid Wett.
“I wouldn’t say no to an influencer fight, I’d beat a fucking influencer for a million. I will do it.
“Maybe Astrid Wett. I definitely would, why not? As long as it doesn’t affect my boxing license or something, it’s just for the money and it’s just a bit of fun.
“I’m a bit wild and I wouldn’t care if you didn’t know how to box, I’d beat the shit out of you. If you want to get in this ring and you want to fight, let me do it.
