Tyson Fury has said he would like former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou to knock out old foe Deontay Wilder if a fight between them materializes.

Last month, the American revealed ongoing talks for a showdown with the MMA star who is now a free agent and is looking to move into boxing.

It’s unclear if Wilder vs. Ngannou will actually take place, but the talks have already got people talking.

In an interview that was given before reuniting with Wilder at Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury, but has only just been published, Fury gave his thoughts on the match.

When asked if a Ngannou win was possible, Fury told Fight Hub, “He’s big enough to knock out anyone.

“But I don’t think he does because I think Wilder knocks him out first.

“Wilder is the type of guy who is like a shit type, so I would like to see Ngannou chin him up, knock him out.

“But I don’t think he would.”

Fury was then quizzed on whether his animosity towards Wilder still holds following the American’s accusations of cheating against him.

The Brit replied: “No. I don’t think I gave him a good enough beating in that third fight.

“It was a beating for the ages, I punched him.

“But he obviously didn’t take enough punishment.

“So don’t rule out a fourth fight.”
