Z-Ro opens up about the fight with Trae Tha Truth

Z-Ro, whose real name is Joseph Wayne McVey IV, sat down with TMZ following his messy altercation with Trae Tha Truth and his crew.

He shared his side of the story where he claimed he was pushed by Trae’s crew after the 42-year-old rapper asked to speak to him.

The ‘I Can’t Leave Drank Alone’ artist said, ‘I was at a 50’s charity dinner on Saturday and some fans asked for a picture. Then I saw Trae approaching. He asked if he could holla at me. I turned to see who he was talking to and he asked me if I could follow him to the side of a sprinter bus.’

He continued, ‘I’m thinking we are [are about] to talk like 2 grown men, but I was sucker punched. When this happened… several other types jumped in (I have no affiliation with them).’

The 45-year-old rapper then pointed out that the released videos do not reveal the whole truth behind their fight.

He mentioned, ‘The video that is circulating is part of what happened. The beginning, where I was asked to come, is not shown! At the end of the day, I came to the One Deep event to meet my artist Lolita Monreaux. So we can support 50.’
