The Champions League final is the biggest game in European football and all eyes will be on this big occasion this summer.
Europe’s top clubs compete for a place in the showpiece match that marks the end of the football campaign each year.
Reigning champions Real Madrid are set to reach another final this season after beating Liverpool 1-0 at the Stade de France last season.
With the Champions League Round of 16 underway, the competition draws closer and closer to its climax.
When is the Champions League final?
The 2022/23 Champions League final will take place on Saturday June 10.
It will be played at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul, Turkey.
This stadium was supposed to host the 2020 and 2021 finals, but both were moved due to complications from the COVID pandemic.
Champions League dates
Here is the full Champions League knockout schedule:
- Round of 16 second leg: 7/8/14/15 March
- Quarter-finals: 11/12 & 18/19 April
- Semi-finals: 9/10 & 16/17 May
- Final: June 10
Once the Round of 16 is completed, a draw will take place to determine the schedule for the Quarter-Finals and Semi-Finals.
This means that the winning teams will find out their possible route to the final in the draw on Friday March 17.
